Oh my! Now that's a messy desk!

Okay... lol.  Yes I am sharing my amazingly messy crafting area/desk.

I have a very small area to fit all my crafty goodness and unfortunately it seems to be spilling over into the floor and into other rooms of the house.  At the moment I have my big shot and my paper cutter on my kitchen table because I have no room on my desk to use them.  I wish I could figure out a better way to organize it.  If anyone has any tips or tricks to share with me I would really appreciate it.

I do tidy up my desktop (usually before doing a video or starting a new project) but it just ends up back like this.  I think a lot of it is due to having so many unfinished projects (because I don't usually sit down and do one start to finish) and all the tiny little things that don't have a designated home.  I don't have any extra money to go out and buy storage solutions so I am forced to make my own.  I've reached a brain block as to how to go about doing this.  I've saved mason jars to put things in but am not sure what I should put in them. I even saved some of the nice clear plastic containers that my daughter's favorite candy comes in.

I would really like to get this cleaned up and organized because I believe it may be a cure for my recent bout of "crafter's block" and I've heard that a clean area can promote calm.  (If you're like me you need all the calm you can get.)

Wow!  It's been so long since I posted anything and for that I am sorry.  I've had so much going on in my daily life that finding the time and motivation to post has not been a priority.  I am going to try to make up for that.  I have a couple of videos that I have posted to my youtube channel but have neglected to share here.  I will be adding these in the next few days and have a plan for making more to post.

Project and youtube giveaway

Hi everyone!

This is just a quick note to let everyone know about a goal I have set for myself.  I would like to reach 100 subbies on my Youtube channel by the end of February.  I'll be posting several videos (at least 2 or 3 a week) during that time as well.  I am working on several projects that I'd like to share.  If I reach this goal I will be doing a giveaway at the beginning of March.
